Description

Colorectal cancer (CRC) affects both men and women and is a rather prevalent condition in the Western world. A number of pathways are known to be altered in CRC; they include the canonical Wnt, transforming growth factor-beta, Smad dependent and the extracellular signal-regulated Raf/Mek/Erk signaling pathways and the regulatory DNA mismatch repair pathway.
